Welcome to the new website for the Kearsarge Community Band! If you visited our old site, you’ll recognize some of the content, especially regarding the band’s rich heritage from past generations, and we’ve preserved a number of the photos from the early years of our modern era starting in 1991. One conscious improvement is that we’re committed to keeping the new site fresh and up-to-date so that you can come here at any time to find details of the band’s scheduled performances, learn about any changes in the rehearsal schedule, see a representative sample of the music we’re currently working on, and view a few photos — and eventually videos and/or audio recordings — of some of our recent appearances. (If you have photos of any of our 2013 performances that you’d like to offer, please contact us.)
While we have officially “turned on the switch” for the new site, we will continue to tweak it and add content from time to time, so bookmark the site and check back every week or two to see what’s new. Look especially at the “Recent Posts” (at the bottom of the right sidebar), as that’s where much of the new content will show up, hopefully including occasional blog posts from members of the band. Anyone is welcome to submit a comment to any of these posts — see below. Comments are moderated and will appear once they’ve been approved.

We trust this will be interesting, informative and helpful for band members, for our audiences around the Kearsarge region, and for anyone who is simply interested, as we are, in “making music just for the fun of it.”
