After a busy summer concert season, the Kearsarge Community Band will take a 3-week vacation from its regular Tuesday evening rehearsals. We’ll start up again on September 17 to prepare for the community bands festival in October.

Look forward to hearing KCB. Will bring our granddaughter, who is in Springfield ( MA ) Youth Symphony, to hear her Great Uncle John play some licks on the licorice stick! With the variety of music including band classics, standard marches and esoteric Baltic selections, it always well worth the almost six-hour round trip. Thanks to all for their many miles and hours to provide this wonderful entertainment. Howard A. Leland
